We first did Shannon's maternity photos at a creek, but when your friend looks this gorgeous pregnant, you do two shoots ;) These shots were taken on a sunny day with beautiful glowing light at golden hour. Shannon lead me to a spot along the Newcastle beach where she has memories of neighbourhood bonfires. And what a spot! This beach has water on both sides - the lake adorns your view to the south, and to the north is a beautiful wetland which was graced by swans. We also got a couple shots of the kids playing like kids on the beach.
